MCP a new option for treating chronic heart failure

Cardiola's therapeutic approach is based on counter pulsation, an operating principle also used in intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and with External Counter Pulsation (ECP). This therapeutic mechanism could previously only be applied in a highly-invasive environment or required elaborate technical equipment. 

Cardiola's patented method is now the first to enable the non-invasive, home-based application of this operating principle using the patient’s own skeletal muscle.

MCP has beenfully developed, received CE certification and meets the requirements of Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products.
