Cardiola Ltd. was founded in 2000 in Winterthur, Switzerland. Our commercial activity is focused on the further technical and clinical development of Muscular Counter Pulsation (MCP).

Years prior to becoming one of our original founders, Dr. Larry Lapansashvili was the first to identify the clinical effects of Muscular Counter Pulsation. Taking his research as a basis, Cardiola studied different indications as they might relate to the concept’s technical feasibility. Our focus today is on the treatment of chronic heart failure.

After extensive clinical research, Cardiola is now setting the final stage for broad-scale market application.

As a “lean organization” with minimized fixed costs, Cardiola closely works together with a qualified network of clinical and industrial partners. All past research and development has been financed by private and institutional investors.
